World Food Research and Innovation Forum

The World Food research and innovation Forum is a strategic initiative of Emilia-Romagna Region dedicated to Expo 2015 “Feeding the planet energy for life” Universal Exposition. The Forum aims to establish in Emilia-Romagna an internationalthink-tank working to address a strategy for the sustainability, security and safety of food industry in the global market, running both at Italian and European level. The forum is a space for new and diverse perspectives where stakeholder, in research, economy, policy and finance, have the opportunity to share ideas and outline scenarios in technology research and sustainable development.
The Forum consists of several international events on topics related to food and nutrition issues and outlines a two year roadmap through the Emilia-Romagna territory towards the Italian edition of Universal Exposition, Expo 2015 “Feeding the planet energy for life”.
The 2014 edition of the Forum offers four main events, each one is dedicated to a specific topic and organised in the framework of successful trade-fairs and exhibitions in Emilia-Romagna.
